This is a factory BLUED STEEL 7-round magazine for the full-size (Government model) 1911 in .45 ACP

These steel magazines are put through multiple tests to assure ever lasting service. Wilson Combat fortifies the steel on these magazines by immersing the steel to be blued in a solution of potassium nitrate, sodium hydroxide, and water heated to the boiling point. Ensuring that the magazine will last the shooter a very long time without corrosion.

The enternals of this magazine include a fiber-filled nylon self-lubricating follower, and a steel compression spring to assure minimal friction and sustainability when in the field or out in the range.
